2020 Single Vineyard 5182 Chardonnay – We’ll let Sam Kim tell you about this gem. “Immensely complex and enticing, the wine shows ripe stone fruit, roasted hazelnut, French pastry, lemon zest and a hint of vanilla notes on the nose, leading to a concentrated palate that’s plush and refined at the same time. Brilliantly framed by bright acidity, making it wonderfully structured for a graceful development. From their home vineyard in Renwick.” 97 Points

2021 Single Vineyard Clayvin 5096 Pinot Noir – Nick Stock for James Suckling awarded us 97 Points and had this to say. “Trademark violet-like florals and an earthy edge to the ripe cherries and blueberries. There’s subtle complexity here, and this is a vintage of real fruit purity. The palate has a very impressively defined tannin weave with bright, gently tangy texture and a fresh, juicy core of red cherries and plums. The taut, fine tannin and crisp layering is a real feature. Drink or hold.”

2019 Single Vineyard 5182 Pinot Noir – Cameron Douglas MS described this wine as “Complex and youthful, taut and dry, a wine of texture as much as it is of fruit, I feel this is a voice of place as much as it is style that Anna and Jason like to showcase. The fruit handling with a core of freshness and fine savoury seams not only add complexity, they speak to the slightly wild side of Marlborough as a place to grow fruit. An abundance of polished tannins and backbone of acidity, the core of fruit flavours soak up all. Oak sits well just enough in the background not to standout adding texture and complexity. A delicious wine best enjoyed from mid to late 2024 through 2034. Outstanding” 95 Points
